Hi! I'm Krista Ali.

 I've been a Girl Scout Troop Leader for the past 14 years and enjoy mentoring young girls and women of all ages through my work as a volunteer. Giving them the platform and encouragement to be empowered and confident is one of my biggest passions in life. 

Kickboxing is a great way to stay in shape and learn to defend yourself. Hitting the bag makes me feel empowered, and the amount of calories I burn allows me to eat more pizza. I would love to visit Thailand for an entire summer 

and study muay thai.

My family keeps me grounded and is the reason I work hard and strive for excellence in my adventures both professionally and personally. My two daughters who are full of wit and intelligence are my motivation to be the best version of myself; this motivation propels me into being the best role model I can be to them, and all those who I empower and inspire. 

My love for the holidays has allowed me the experience of indulging in some of the best rum cakes there are in the world. I Love Rum Cake and I love rum cake made with Jamaican Rum so much so that I bake them every year for the holidays. I swim in a seasonal rum cake business between October and December. I love to cook! So much so that I started a social media blog inspired by all the culinary favorites I have enjoyed during my travels. I like to explore and experiment with different flavor profiles; one day I'm whipping up Tikka Masala and the next I am making Mushroom Risotto. Food is life.
